Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a 3d printer for around $500. It'd be nice if ABS was possible, and I what some reasonable print resolution; let's call it .2mm or less in layer thickness.
I need it within a few weeks for a project, so something not on kickstarter would be preferable ( I realize that rigidbot is probably the cheapest way to go right now, but again, I need it sooner than september)
Printrbot is currently what I'm eyeballing because they get pretty close. Additionally makemendel gets pretty close as well.
Does anyone know of a printer not on this site's personal 3d printer directory that fits these constraints?

Do you want it assembled?
There are a few kits for less than $500, but very few printers are less than $700 assembled, and most are still in development. The Portabee fits your criteria, but the lead time is stated as 6 weeks, which is actually pretty good for 3D printers. http://portabee3dprinter.com/s…..assembled/
