Inside 3D Printing Conference in Australia July 9 & 10

Building upon the last few years’ success around the globe, The Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo moves to Melbourne next week.  Adding to cities that include Seoul, New York, London, and Shanghai, the popular industry event will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf, Melbourne Victoria on the 9th and 10th of July.  To those familiar with past Inside 3D Printing conferences, the format will be similar incorporating an educational conference with a vendor expo to see the latest and greatest in all commercially available 3D Printing products and services.

International speakers from past events are the foundation of the event.  Terry Wohlers, an industry veteran, will keynote.  Terry brings a practical reality to the world of 3D Printing hype and is able to share valuable insight on just what is – and is not – possible in all things 3D printing.  To bring a local flavor, there are a number of strong figures from Down Under who will be presenting findings.  This includes Milan Brandt of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University who will discuss how research at his institution is impacting education, industry, and jobs in the country.  You can find the full program here.

Inside 3D Printing builds a program around the expo that interests a wide range of attendees.  Technical talks on the latest advances and future possiblities of 3D Printers are side-by-side with applications stories, business predictions, and market research.  I always find my mind spinning with new ideas when I attend one of the Inside 3D Printing events and expect the Australian venue will be the same for anyone who attends.
