Just when you thought 3D printing couldn’t get any sweeter.

Oreo is integrating 3D printing technology, combining trending Oreo flavors with custom-created 3D printing assembly machines to create custom-built Oreos for the masses.

At this year’s SXSW festival, an event that brings together the latest in technology, health, gaming, and other bright ideas, Oreo has set up the Oreo Vending Trending Lounge, a space that is designated to deliver “Deliciously hyper-personalized and customized snacks based on real-time data collection.” Two custom-made vending machines will be busy cranking out Oreo cookies based on the current flavors that are trending in social conversations on Twitter.

At the lounge, users will be able to browse the selections of trending flavors on a large touch screen, make their selections, and then watch as their cookie is assembled in less than two minutes. The available flavors will vary depending on what flavor is trending on the Twitter social platform. But that’s not all. The Oreo Trending Vending Lounge is also featuring a milk bar that offers various flavors of milk – because what’s an Oreo without milk? The booth also includes prizes, free Wi-Fi, and a live DJ.

The Oreo Trending Vending Lounge will be open March 7-11, and is open to all SXSW festival attendees. The lounge is located in the SXSW Gold Urban Oasis, at Trinity Street & Cesar Chavez in Austin, Texas. Or you can follow all of the cookie goodness on Twitter with hash tag #eatthetweet.
